ReproTraining - connecting science and practice
Continuing education in equine reproductive medicine is the main focus of ReproTraining. The most current scientific and clinically relevant knowledge is shared with practicing veterinarians of varying experience levels with the aid of continuing education courses and online seminars. Concurrently, and importantly, questions from the “coal face” of equine practice are brought closer to clinical research. A network will be created with the long-term goal of helping to shape the training and experiences of new colleagues and to maintain the attractiveness of equine reproductive medicine as a career.
Continuing education
Continuing education courses with a focus on practically-oriented lectures and hands-on, small group tuition. In-house training and online seminars support the transfer of skills and scientific knowledge to the practice setting. Live online seminars connect veterinarians from all over the world.
Clinical research
An interest in scientific work is the basis for up-to-date, well-founded knowledge. Our aim is to equip our colleagues with relevant, up-to-date information to guide informed decision making in the clinical setting. Clinical studies in the context of doctoral theses in practice bring medical progress for equine practice.
Clinical work
Specialist advice and clinical work in close cooperation with referring veterinarians provide support in complicated gynecological cases. Amongst others these include twin and high risk pregnancies, hysteroscopy, embryo transfer and subfertility cases.
Network
Veterinary medicine is currently undergoing a change that particularly affects equine reproductive medicine. A strong and supportive network helps with the growing challenges and increases the attractiveness of a career in equine reproductive practice.
